BRONYA FIRE PROTECTION NORD

Fire protection coating for metal structures Bronya Fire Protection NORD is designed to increase the fire resistance limit of metal structures in construction and provides fire resistance for load-bearing metal structures.

The quality of the Bronya Fire Protection Nord composition allows to protect light metal structures up to the R120 level. The composition was specially developed for use in sports and infrastructure facilities, where, despite the large area of the buildings, the load on the enclosing structures is low, and the thicknesses of load-bearing metal are small. At the same time, all the traditional advantages of Bronya Fire Protection Nord are fully preserved – low costs, ease of application, and long service life of the coating. It increases the fire protection class (R) of the covered structure, from R45, R90 to R120 (certified).

Working principle: Upon heating, vapors and inert gases are released, which do not support or slow down combustion, forming a protective replacement of oxygen with gases and vapors. Thus, fire protection paints not only block thermal convection at the protected surface but also significantly reduce and suppress flames. At the same time, the upper layer of the protected surface thickens, carbonizes, and acquires the necessary rigidity. The paint contains flame retardants, specialized gas generators, stabilizers of the foamed layer, and heat-resistant substances based on polymer binder.
