FIRE PROTECTION

Fire protection protects building structures made of metal, wood or reinforced concrete from high temperatures and heavy loads that contribute to their deformation and loss of bearing capacity. As a rule, fire-resistant coatings are applied to load-bearing structures, allowing them to perform their load-bearing abilities longer during a fire, preventing rapid collapse of the building and increasing the working life of the fire brigade.

The operation principle of the flame-retardant coating

When heated strongly, it begins to swell, forming a thick foamy layer. The foam layer formed as a result of swelling retains intense heat, preventing heating of the structures on which it is applied. During its action, namely swelling, the material produces substances that block the flow of oxygen, and consequently slow down the burning process itself. The thickness of the coating depends on the desired fire resistance limit. This limit determines the period of time during which the structure will reach a certain state under the influence of high temperatures.

OUR PRODUCTS CAN BE USED TO INCREASE FIRE RESISTANCE FROM 45 TO 120 MINUTES.

“BRONYA” Fire Protection is suitable for processing the following objects that require increased fire resistance:

  • Building structures;
  • Air ducts of ventilation and smoke extraction systems;
  • Cable passages, trays and nodes;
  • Tanks with petroleum products or liquefied gas.

The composition was specially developed for use in sports and infrastructure facilities, where, with a large area of buildings, the load on the enclosing structures is low, and the given thicknesses of the bearing metal are small. At the same time, the traditional advantages of “BRONYA FIREPROTECTION” are fully preserved — low costs, ease of application and long service life of the coating.

To do this, depending on the task at hand, you will need:
